1. Account Registration

You must be 16 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others.

2. Subscription & Billing

BullForge offers a 14-day free trial followed by paid subscription plans. You will be charged at the end of your trial unless you cancel beforehand. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the app or by contacting hello@bullforge.app.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued unless requested within 7 days of a charge.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the app, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

BullForge is provided "as is." We are not liable for any injury resulting from following workout or nutrition advice. Always consult a qualified professional before beginning a new exercise programme. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Data We Collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed)
• Profile data: weight, height, age, sport, goals
• Workout and nutrition logs
• Payment data (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details)
• Usage data: app activity, timestamps

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalise the BullForge service
• To send trial reminders and subscription emails
• To process payments via Stripe
• To improve the app and fix bugs

Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing hello@bullforge.app. We will delete your data within 30 days.

• Right to object to processing

Third Parties

We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (hosting and database). We do not sell your data.

7-Day Money Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your BullForge Premium subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. This guarantee does not apply to renewal charges.

How to Request a Refund

Email hello@bullforge.app with the subject "Refund Request" and include your registered email address. We will process your refund within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

After Your Refund

Your account will be downgraded to the Basic plan immediately upon processing your refund. Your data remains safe and accessible on the Basic plan.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to decline refunds where evidence of abuse or multiple refund requests exists. Renewal payments are non-refundable unless there was a billing error.

Cookies We Use

BullForge uses only essential cookies necessary for the app to function. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.

Essential Storage

• bf_token — your authentication token (localStorage)
• bf_user — cached user profile (localStorage)
• bf_workouts — local workout log (localStorage)
• bf_dev — developer access flag (localStorage)

No Third-Party Tracking

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking technology. Your data stays with BullForge.

Managing Cookies

You can clear all stored data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or using the "Download My Data" feature in your profile before clearing. Clearing storage will log you out.
